Service Ashfield Mining Review Co. is the official registered name of our company. We operate from Office 6, 43 Example-ro, Nam-gu, Ulsan, and serve mining operators across South Korea who need documented evidence of hardware reliability.
Established 2018
Service Ashfield began in 2018 when two former datacenter technicians in Ulsan noticed a gap: hosting rooms received miners that hashed under bench tests but failed cold boots after overnight power schedules. Rather than selling hardware or hosting hash rate, we built a practice around repeatable boot-cycle protocols and uptime logging.
Our first clients were small operators in Nam-gu with ten to forty units. By 2020 we added fleet comparison reports for buyers evaluating mixed refurbished batches. Today we assess units at client sites from Busan to Daegu and at our Nam-gu bench for walk-in diagnostics.
What we do
We measure what operators actually experience: does the miner start when the PDU cycles, does hash rate hold through a humid coastal night, does the unit recover without a manual button press. Our reports use field vocabulary — boot cycles, intake temperature, hash rate drift — not abstract scores divorced from deployment context.
Our approach
Every assessment follows a published protocol so results can be compared across units and dates. We do not accept commissions from manufacturers or resellers. Findings are documented whether they favour or disadvantage a particular model.
Technicians log data on calibrated meters and export boot timestamps for your own records. Reports are written in English with metric units, matching how Korean hosting contracts and import documentation are typically prepared.
People
Han Seo-yeon — Lead field technician. Fifteen years in industrial cooling and electrical distribution before specialising in ASIC thermal behaviour along the Ulsan coast.
Park Ji-hoon — Assessment coordinator. Schedules on-site visits, manages serial-range documentation, and delivers reports within agreed windows.
Yoon Min-ah — Client liaison. Handles intake calls, quote preparation, and follow-up when operators need clarification on boot-cycle logs.

Repeatability — A boot test that cannot be reproduced is not evidence. We document ambient conditions and circuit configuration.
Plain language — Verdicts state whether a unit is suitable for unattended rows, needs a monitored position, or should be retired.

We work on request, not subscription. You contact us when a purchase, relocation, or failure pattern warrants measurement. Many clients return before expanding a row or after a storm-related power event. We keep serial-indexed records so repeat assessments reference prior boot logs.
