Comparison Reports
Methodology and sample metrics from our miner boot reliability and uptime comparison reports for ASIC hardware at 0.05 TH/s and above.
Our comparison reports rank miners tested under identical protocols at a single site. Below is the methodology we publish so operators know what each column in a fleet report represents.
Boot success rate
Percentage of scheduled cold-start and warm-restart attempts that reached sustained hash within the protocol timeout (typically 180 seconds). A unit at 100% boot success still undergoes uptime logging — boot and sustained run are separate scores.
Uptime percentage
Share of the observation window where hash rate stayed at or above 95% of rated nominal for that unit. Thermal throttling that recovers without manual intervention counts as uptime; manual reboots count as downtime.
Thermal stability index
Internal scale from A to D based on intake-to-exhaust delta and variance during load. Not a manufacturer spec — a field index for comparing units in the same ambient band.

When to order a comparison
- Mixed refurbished batch before payment release
- Pre-consolidation of units from temporary circuits
- Annual audit of a row after environmental changes
Limitations we state clearly
Units must share the same test location and protocol version. We do not merge historical reports from different sites into one ranking.
