Case account: Nam-gu row consolidation
Background
An operator in Nam-gu planned to move twenty-six miners from two temporary circuits into one permanent row. Mixed ages: mostly S19 variants rated well above 0.05 TH/s, plus four older units held for spare hash rate.
Work performed
Service Ashfield ran the 72-hour uptime protocol on all twenty-six units over ten days. Ambient logging noted coastal humidity rising above 75% on two nights.
Outcome
Six units showed intermittent cold-boot failure after the humid nights. Those were placed in the front aisle with existing temperature alarms. The four oldest units failed sustained uptime below 94% and were marked for retirement rather than relocation. The operator used the comparison matrix in supplier discussions for replacement units.

Two units booted cleanly every time. Three needed one extra power cycle intermittently. Three failed cold boot more than once — buyer negotiated partial credit and excluded those from the contract. Assessment fee was referenced in the amended purchase document.
